Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Your journal entries are private. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. This policy explains clearly what we collect, why, and who sees it.

Who we are

Nuri is a journaling app that extracts entities and patterns from your entries to build a private knowledge graph of your life. The app is operated by Miuu Studio (hello@nuri.ink).

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the app:

How your entries are processed

When you save a journal entry, its text is sent to Anthropic (the makers of Claude) via their API to extract entities and relationships. Anthropic processes this text to return structured data and does not use it to train their models — this is governed by Anthropic's API usage policy.

Extracted results are stored in our database alongside your entry. Your raw entry text is never sent to any other third party for AI processing.

Third-party services

We do not use analytics platforms, ad networks, or tracking SDKs.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. Access to your entries is protected by row-level security policies — no other user can read your entries, and our team has minimal access to production data.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via Supabase Auth (email magic link or OAuth).

Your rights

You can, at any time:

Children

Nuri is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
